Yapp..Yapp…..(Help…Help…)

If only it could talk. Would its life be different from

how it is now?

 

Days before,I saw it near the swing. It was entertaining
itself by

trying to climb the pole.It normally hangs around the house
near

the t-junction.I noticed it had a chain around its neck. I
never

did give much thought about it.

 

On the morning itself, my sis and I took my grandpa for a
walk as

usual. Everything felt as if it was yesterday, from the scorching

sun to the congested main road.

 

Minutes before the incident,it was walking near the corner
of the

road.Mean while we where pushing my grandpa(he is in
wheelchair)

near the edge of the playground,ready to cross the road once
cleared.

 

CRACK

 

The driver was making a sharp cornering.The dog got hit.The
car stop

but once the dog “ran” away with due to fear(or pain) from
its survival

instinct.It was limping on 3 legs as one was obviously
broken.It lift the

broken leg,it was dangling down.The driver just left as if
nothing happened.

I didn’t managed to get hold on the number plate…I was just
dumb struck.

 

Seconds after the incident,instead of taking my grandpa for
a walk around

the neighborhood we took him straight home.

 

My sis went back for the dog,which is now hiding behind the
bushes. It was

bleeding.A lady offer to take the door to the nearby vet.We learn that the

owner has moved but left the dog behind.Only now I understood
why it was

always wandering around that area.Looking at it,I realize what was
around its neck

was actually a chain with a padlock.It cant be open without
the key.

 

We were given choices of treating the dog……one of it was
even

“mercy killing”.It might sound cure but compared to letting
it astray

again with its wound,it will soon die due to infection.

 

I don’t want it to die…..just don’t want….yet at the same
time I cant take

it home.

 

Now we will just hope that the SPCA will help this poor dog
get cured

and a new shelter.Lets just hope and pray together.

……A decision was made……

We paid the vet the fee,to let it have a slow death.

The dog will be SENTENCE TO DEATH for the fault of GETTING ITSELF INJURED.

………..what a joke of life………..
