The pain I feel…I try to numb it

I try to hide it with a smile

I fool no one…

but myself

I want to run..run…

run away from sorrow and pain

Once again….

I fool no one but myself

Sometimes I wonder why?Why me?

Maybe I should ask how?

How to overcome it?

And stand on my feet again

That is when I realise

There they are….

Friends and family

by my side

When they smile

They carve one on me

Lending me a hand

To lift me up again
